- I can walk to pick up the kids in 13 minutes.
- Texas is still hot even when there is a cool breeze......I knew that but today I had a refresher course.
- my feet cramp up when walking briskly while wearing flip flops.
- I shouldn't take pictures of my feet while they hurt....it makes them look uglier than they already are.

Happy 28th to ME
Wednesday August 13th.
Julie (Jason's sister) took the kids I watch during the day (Aaron and Alyssa), so I can have a quiet day all to myself. I had a allergy induced cold, so I was feeling crummy...
Veida picked me up, we met my Grandma, Aunt Denice, and Mom at Olive Garden. I got some fun stuff....My Grandma gave me a lanebryant gift card (the pics below show the shirt I bought with it, I also got pants and earrings and undies). My Aunt gave me some cash, that I later blew at the mall. My mom gave me tickets to a circus in October, and the Fort Worth Zoo. Veida tried to trick me...she gave me four movies...each movie had a common theme, and that was New York. Then she used her crafty skills and created a faux boarding pass...for New York...her surprise is that she and I in October when the weather is pleasant....are going to go to our sister trip to New York.
After Olive Garden, Veida and I went to the mall, I tried to spend all my gift card at lane bryant then...but learned they were having a rad sale on Saturday, so I managed to walk out at that time with only a clearance shirt for $10.
We sat in those awesome lounge/massage chairs for 8 mins while it pleasantly tortured my back... yum. Then we went down to the hair place Trade Secrets and I used the cash my aunt gave me to buy nail polish (OPI Log On To Love) some Biologe shampoo and conditioner... Then we went to look at purses in Macys, because when it was Foley's they used to have wicked awesome clearance....not so much as Macy's but, I guess thats why Foleys is out of business...boohoo.
We left for Target...there I got some cute blue and pink pails and baskets (with the rest of the money my aunt gave me) that I can use to help organize my desk with..
We also went for Happy Hour....at Sonic. I had to have a Happy Birthday Route 44 Dr Pepper with extra ice. ...
I came home, took a nap, went to church....then after church, the kids went to Tracy's and Jason and I ate a yummy meal at Don Pablos...I was really wanting some chicken fajita nachos!
(Thurs and Friday were not my birthday days, but Jason surprised me with him doing lots and lots of laundry, and also washing all the dishes and keeping the kitchen up.....it was the best ever!)
Saturday August 16..
Went to the mall. Had to get my blackberry fixed, I broke the tracball out of it...stupid me.
After getting my phone back in working condition..we went to JC Pennys and got the kids some school clothes. Tracy took the kids home while I got my birthday party outfit...
Went right home, showered and went off to my party...
At the party..There was a bit of confusion as to how many people they would seat at a time in the same area so I didn't have to go through the whole restaurant to spend time with all my friends and family...after seating was figured out....and all the guests arrived, I floated from booth to booth chatting and visiting... I enjoied myself.
Veida's husband (it is hard for me to write that..she is too little to me to have a HUSBAND) George gave me a ticket to the Alanis Morisette Concert in October (looks like October is going to be busy for me!) Veida has the other ticket...This is SO exciting...we saw Alanis this past Feb with Matchbox 20, but she didn't get enough stage time if you ask me.....so I get to see an encore! YAY.
And my dad sent a gift........The Sewing Machine!!!!!!
YAY!!!!! I am stoked!
The party was over, everyone left, Whitney was the only person to come back to the casa and hang with Jason and me....then she left....and my birthday was over.
But feel free at anytime to send me a birthday gift! ha ha ha, jk!
This was the scene at my birthday party. Well it was more like a gathering of the people who love me and care for me...I had evited, and most didn't show up *sad* but these fine fun people did! Yay for Texas Roadhouse....I needed some Kabobs for my birthday! yummy yummy!

Then the pics start over...because Picasa hates me.

Oh Why Do You Not Listen??
I am so sad, my birthday (blog to come) was last week and I did not get what I wanted. I was expecting to receive the cat wall clock. I told you guys about it before, but I guess I didn’t hint around enough about it. I don’t have a clock on my wall in my living room, kitchen, or dining room. I want one of these clocks because I love love love the unique wall clocks at www.animatedclocks.net.
I am sure, like me you loved the television show Friends. Well these clocks are something right of the show. Actually the cat clock reminds me of Phoebe, all crazy and fun but sort of weird and different. I have the most perfect place in my apartment for it, no matter if anyone that lives here likes it or not. I need one for Christmas..since you missed my birthday. And if you would like me to consider buying one of these for you, check out the links, and then look at the clocks, and once you picked your favorite…leave me a message, and I will think about your birthday, or a holiday I might want to share my cool off-beat treasure with you. Maybe..I just might keep them all to myself. Ha.

Getting a little lighter and smokeless
As one of my goals for this next year of my life, I want to lose weight. I believe in losing weight slowly but surely, and without aide of diet-pills. BUT…. I saw something and am in the process of researching it..however, I wanted to share my findings with you.
Rimonabant is a new weight loss pill that helps curb your appetite. And because your appetite is being controlled, you eat less, and because you eat less, you lose weight… and that begins the cycle of… losing weight helps gain energy, and with energy you want to move around more, move around more you will be more active, being more active helps you burn more calories, burning calories means…more weight loss!! YaY!
This new pill has been featured on msnbc.com as well as a few other accredited news features. Not only does it help with the weight loss, but it is also able to combat smoking addictions, and with more research it is being looked at for the aide of helping people stop abusing drugs and alcohol. If you need to lose weight, stop smoking, get off drugs then you need to buy Rimonabant. I don’t need it for anything but weight loss myself, but I know a few people who are battling the other demons this pill helps with!
And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you buy Rimonabant go and see your doctor. Don’t just take it from me, or a website…talk to your doc and let him know this is what you want to try, and let them make sure it is the best for you..That is the same with any kind of medicine you put into your body. They can monitor and keep tabs on if this new health saver is for you or not….most likely it is.

I Know It's Not Heart Month But....
I am always a bit worried about heart health, mostly because my father and sister have Marfan syndrome. And with Marfans it is very important to sustain a healthy heart…
I saw an ad on EDTA regarding artery cleaning, and how this product (that has been around since the 30’s) helps improve blood circulation through the heart, in turn, helping to lower blood pressure.
Did you know that your arteries can be clogged up with plaque? I thought that was only for your teeth…not to mention it also can be stuffed with mineral deposits…all this sounds crazy but understandable. EDTA oral chelation, (or even through an IV) is the medical version of “Draino” and can clean away all the artery clogs your heart can hold.
EDTA chelation has been tried tested and testified by thousands of doctors. I am excited to have my dad (who is more likely to have artery build up because of his age) talk to his Cardiologist about it…I want him to be as clean as a whistle. He has already had an artery replaced with plastic that is all he needs to have done, I will send this message to him so he can make sure to remain as plastic, plaque and mineral free as possible.

Taking Money...How To
I may be getting a head of myself..but when I open my sweets shop, I will need a point of service provider…a company that will help provide the tools for my visa mastercard and american express customers .. which nowadays is virtually everyone.
I came across this company that has my pos solutions. Canadian Retail Solutions as far as I can tell is an open and honest company. In their “top ten most common mistakes when buying a POS System” they are upfront and honest on the things you should do before making that step and being committed to an expensive system. They tell you to try out their company, and others..to make sure that you are picking the right one for your needs…I like that in a company. Point of Sale software, is very intricate, detailed, and needed in any business, and I may be way way overstepping the order of events, but this is something I think about now, as I slowly start trying to build my sweets, I have people wanting to buy, and as of now, accepting credit cards or debit cards are beyond what I am capable of.
If you have a small business, and need POS Software, check out this company. The more I review this site, the more I like the ethics of this company, and their open honest policy in helping you find what is the best of you and your growing business!
