ReDo

And being almost midnight....my day got worse. I should have crawled back into bed....maybe a redo is in order.

I am off to make oreo truffles for Jason's work.....because I am a mean rude person like that....

How to get me to NOT want to do something....

Tell me as you walk out the door.

I washed most of the dishes in the sink last night, YOU only have a few to wash today.

More Introductions

This is Ainsley. She is my new little friend. I get to hang out with her Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm.
I started watching her last Thursday, and we had a good few days together. I enjoy getting to snuggle her during the days.
Jason keeps saying that watching her is going to cure my baby bug....but I think it might agitate it a bit more....
I will post things that Ainsley and I do here, but I will also start a blog so her mom can log on and see things.....such as milestones that happen, or funny things....you know...that kind of stuff.
She is a sweet baby with a sweet disposition and snugly little body....I am having fun....and I am pretty sure I am in love with her already.

These are funny pictures, she wasn't sure how to take the flash.....but she does have some funny facial experssions....

Ladies and Gentleman, I now introduce........

Jack!!!

Jack was adopted about 4 weeks ago. He belonged to our next door neighbor (Jason's ex-sister-in-law) but she was getting rid of him because he was being a rambuncious puppy and she didn't want to deal with him (she does that with all puppies, she gets them when they are cute, but as soon as you have to work with them to teach them the right things, she quits). Our neighbor has three daughters who loved Jack so much and they cried and cried when it was time to give him up. So we took him that way they can come over when ever they want to see him. So far, it has worked out good, if you don't include the puppy pee that tends to be put on my carpet along with the poop. He is almost potty trained now, so that is good. He is a cuddly puppy. When he plays he plays hard, but afterwards he loves to snuggle people at the nape of their necks, and he will snore like a grown man.
Jack is almost 12 weeks old.
We think he may be some type of hound dog, beagle perhaps. Do you know how to tell a dog breed? any suggestions on what he may be?

My Christmas Tree 2008

What I did and Today's Hate Therapy

Woke up → Heard Hershal → Got in Shower → Got out of shower → Weighed myself → lost another few pounds → wondered what I am doing different to lose the weight (7 pounds in the past month)→ Got Dressed → Saw lots of Jason's family at my house to car pool to reunion → everyone runs into CVS to get impromtu white elephant gift exchange gifts → pile back in cars → Carpool through Jack in the Box drive through → still have to go inside the place because it is Jack in the box and they can never get anything right → Lose half of the carpool to a red light → guess where they were headed → get stuck in traffic → Realize that I am in the back seat of a car of a crazy driver → have to entertain 4 kids → get woozy car sick → get to the family reunion two hours late → not know anyone at boyfriends family reunion → have to anser a bazillion peoples question on when Jason and I are not married → leave reunion with Aaron and Alyssa and crazy driver and family → Get home and remember it is a wreck → Neighbors knock and knock and knock (Jason's Neices) → Warm up dinner left overs → feel the grump and anger build → see that Jason's dad is spending the night → Have Jason hug me and start to act sweet then he says " I Am sorry you are tired and grumpy → Go with Jason to run an errand → Clean the kitchen (big big big task) → visit with a friend through yahoo msgr → debate for a few minutes on if I want to blog, and how I want to blog → research how to put an arrow (→) on my blog → figure it out→ type blog → hopefully go to bed shortly thereafter → feel hungry while sleeping........sleep

So after reading it, doesn't sound as frustrating as I feel, I just know that...

today I was late, I hate being late

today I was stuck watching kids, I hate feeling forced to hang out with carpet crawlers

today I was scared for my life while someone drove me, I hate having to be at someone elses mercy

today I got nothing but jerky attitude from Aaron, because he is now 12 going on 25 and I hate his attitude lately

today I have to deal with Hershal (Jason's dad) staying here indefinitly and I hate to have him stay at all (see this post, it was about him)

today I was told I am being grumpy I hate being told that I am being grumpy, it makes me clam up and not talk to you.

today I had to deal with lots of kids touch my Christmas tree and rearrange the ornament, and I hate people to touch my masterpeice.

today I had to deal with people coming into my messy house and I hate people being here without my prior knowledge so I can clean up and act like I am always neat and orderly.

today I had to get directions over the phone, I hate doing that.

today I had to explain that Jason is phobic about marriage and thats why he hasnt asked me to marry him, I hate doing that too

today I had to buy last minute gifts, I hate doing that too, to me it is thoughless.

today I had to deal with being late, I hate being late. Did I mention that already??? oh yeah well I really hate it.

Um....there are more I hates, but I think that is enough therapy for today.

My thoughts on lights

Does anyone know Ashley Miller from Quincy Illinois? If you do, tell her about my blog, and tell her I want her to contact me....I miss my dear friend.
She is the only person who understands my thoughts on Christmas lights, and how some houses are decorated in a very White Trash manner.
We had the same taste in decor....especially in the Christmas realm.
Let me make a note.....if your house looks like what I am about to discribe, please don't be offended. It is my personal opinion. And yes, if I drive by your white trash decorations, I will probably think "oh WT". But don't change it because of me...I am sure that somethings I do is considered WT, I am just picky about Christmas lights....ha ha.
If your house has more lawn ornaments than the Christmas Aisle at Walmart
then you have WT lights

If your house has lights in a tree/bush that looks like a rainbow threw up on it,
then you have WT lights
If some of your lights blink and some don't and it isn't in a decorative manner
then you have WT lights
If someone can tell that the lights lining your house don't match, but you still have them strung like they do
then you have WT lights

If some of your lights are colored and some of them are white and you are hoping no one notices,

then you have WT lights

If your house looks like the Griswald

then you have WT lights

Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving Day...

I cook a mean Thanksgiving dinner, if I do say so myself. On my list was:

Turkey
Mashed Potatos
Homemade Mac and Cheese (better known to the world as Macaroni Pie)
Cranberry Compote
Sweet Potatos
Corn on the cob
Peas
Homemade Fresh greenbeans
Watergate Salad (Green stuff, as it is known in our family)
Salad
Rolls (not from scratch)
Carrot Cake (from Scratch)

store bought pumpkin pie
store bought pecan pie

(and I think there was more, I just can't remember right this second)

And my mom brought ham
And my friend and her mom brough Veggie Tray, Fruit Tray and made a fruit dip to die for.

We had a yummy lunch, watched the cowboys win, and some of us (Shayda) took naps.

Again, this year, I did not take pictures. Last year I didn't have my camera, this year I wasn't talented enough to cook dinner, and be the photographer.

Is it bad, that it has been 5 days, and I still have a few Thanksgiving dishes to wash....yes, call me lazy.

I am thankful for many things in my life. The following only barely scrapes the surface of what I am thankful for:
My Family
My Friends
The love Jason has developed for me
My Relationship with Jason
Having a roof over my head
My Grandmother and her loving kindness.

*sigh*

I am thankful for having a blog that I can write my feelings, share my world, and document my days.

Thank you for reading!

Karaoke Part One

We go to a place called G Willikers, it is a fun little dive that lets us sing karaoke and drink sodas all night. Fun times....

Veida scolding a guy who has bad game.

A guy we hung out with at the Karaoke bar, he and his group of friends were cool and let us chill with them.

Crazy lady who is a regular, as well as likes to grind up and down on the mirrored wall for dramatics....it was her birthday, that is why she is soooo dressed up.

The guy that hit on Veida, as well as got mad at me for wanting a picture of the crazy lady, because he heard me say I thought she was silly and laughing at her.

Veida and Me singing one of our many duets.

Revisited and Recapped: Halloween 2008

Introducing my handmade abilities with Aaron and his Kissing Booth Costume....

With the costume, Aaron chased down some teenybops trick or treating in the same area. He says that he wasn't following them, but he sure did stay right on their heels. Every house they went to he did too, and he was way ahead of us most the night.

Aaron Delia and Alyssa finished with Trick or Treating.

Alyssa and Delia during the trick or treating
Jason playing with a wig.....can we say DRAG QUEEN.....

Don't I just look HOT!

My Jackson and Me

On Nov 19th
Jackson and I had a fun time together. He talked about lots of stuff.... like how milk makes him grow, how he didn't learn anything at school that day, and he didn't get to go to the big kid class, he also let me know about his baseball, his cousins, his trip to Colorado and Utah, and oh so much more.

Here is a picture map of our night after dinner....

Jackson took a bath, and when I told him he looked silly with a mohawk he told me "Whatever second-cousin" ha ha ha.

He is soo funny, he has his night routine down...he brushed his teeth, put his chapstick on (all three flavors) and took a sip of water, without me having to remind him anything...what a smart cookie.

After reading some books, he kissed me on my cheek, and when I tried to take a pic of him kissing me I snapped at the wrong time and always got him looking like he is trying to bite me. He thought that was the funniest thing.

And right before lights out, we played a little round of catch with his stuffed glove and ball.....

Looking back.

It's late...
I am still in a irritable mood...
I have a lot to blog about...
I lack blogging motivation tonight...
Technically it is already Dec 1st...

Here is the list of things I have to blog about.

Karaoke part 1
Trip through Target
Babysitting Jackson
New Puppy Jack (but he is too wild of a puppy to sit pretty for pics)
Pound Cake (Simply Sweet blog)
Carrot Cake (Simply Sweet blog)
Thanksgiving
Parade of Lights
Jason's oddly sweet gift
Karaoke part 2 the illegal way

Well that is all I can think of right now....I am sure I have a few more posts to do other than those....check back tomorrow for a few updates.
